- In the documentation that comes with the VxD beta it says that it will expire
- sometime in June. However, all that means is that when you start Windows it
- will give you a message to remind you to upgrade to the next version. It will
- still perform like usual!

- I've had some problems using 3.1b. After I configure it and connect,
- the window goes behind all the other windows and I can't see my TN3270
- session. It doesn't seem to want to come out of the background.
- The last release of qws3270 I had didn't exhibit this behavior. I only
- had a problem switching from Mod 5 to Mod 2.

- FTP to the site ftp.cica.indiana.edu and look in /pub/pc/win3/winsock for the
- file VBWSK03A.ZIP. Haven't tried it myself, though.

- Not true. Winsock was defined by a group of individuals from various companies
- usually with those companies 'blessing'. The spec is derived from copyrighted
- material from Berkeley, Various vendors have contributed tools. I believe the
- spec is PD. Microdyne.com is the authoritive source for info.

- Hi,
-
- The persistent slip dialer I mentioned in a previous post is called GoSlip!,
- written by Rob Reuss. Version 1.1 of this program can be found in the CICA
- uploads directory for a little while and then in the Winsock directory.
